Do NOUN Students go for NYSC Programme?
For some years now since the inception of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) located in Lagos State, Nigeria.  It’s been known that the Students of this great citadel of learning do not usually go for the National Youth Service Corps programme after their graduation. The NYSC Program is a mandatory one year service to the Nation by all University graduates in Nigeria. Provided they are not exempted from the Program. In my last post, I wrote about Exempting from the NYSC Program and How one can actually obtain an NYSC Exemption Certificate as well as the Evaluation Letter.
Do NOUN Students go for NYSC Programme?
Few weeks ago, the Management Board of the National Open University of Nigeria announced to the public. That the University had been approved by the NYSC Board and that its Students are eligible to now go for the NYSC Programme. This was also confirmed when the Institution was listed at the official portal of the NYSC as one of its Participating Institutions.
