Nigerian Army College of Nursing Form 2021/2022

This is to inform the general public that the Form for Admission into the Nigerian Army College of Nursing (NACON), Yaba and Lagos College of Nursing (LCON) for the 2021/2022 National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes is out.
This post serves as a guide to all prospective candidates as it contains some important and essential information needed for a successful enrollment into the programme; NACON/LCON Admission Requirements for 2021/2022, Duration, Application Guidelines, Dates, Venues, Interview Dates and Application Deadline.

All interested applicants are by this notice, invited to apply for the ND/HND Nursing Programme of the Nigerian Army College of Nursing, Yaba, Lagos State, for the 2021/2022 academic year. It is worthy to note that this Admission is opened to the general public irrespective of their status; that’s for both military, paramilitary or civilians.
What Are The 2021/2022 Requirements For Admission Into NACON?
Just like other higher citadels of learning, the Nigerian Army College of Nursing (NACON) has its admission guidelines that all interested applicants must fullfil before they are considered admission into the Institution. These admission requirements include;
1. All interested applicants must have at least 5 Credits in their Ordinary Level Results, that’s WASSCE or GCE or NECO and it must include the following essential subjects; Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Biology and Chemistry and obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
2. All interested applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 25 years on or before October, 2021. This implies that Candidates who are still under 17 years by October 2021 will not be considered for admission. Also, those who are above 25 years by October 2021 will not be accepted into the programme.
3. All interested applicants must be a law abiding citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Citizenship could be either by birth or through naturalization.
4. This is one of the most important criteria for admission into NACON. All interested applicants must pass through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination with a JAMB score of at least 160 and above.
5. All interested applicants must possess a medical fitness report obtained from any government approved hospital.
Note: Any Applicant who does not fullfil any of the aforementioned requirement shall not be considered admission into the Institution for the 2021/2022 Academic Session.

What Is The Duration Of The Programme?
The programme is slated to take a total of five (5) years for both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND).
Method of Application And How To Get NACON 2021/2022 Application Form
Application Forms are obtainable at the Office of the Registrar after a successful payment of the sum of N15,550.00 which is a one time non-refundable fee.
Interview Schedules, Dates And Time
Interview will commence on the 14th day of September and last till the 18th day of September, 2021. The time is 8:00am daily at the School premises.
Note: Punctuality is mandatory as there will be no African time! As at the time of writing this article, news and reports have it that the interview will take the form of a written aptitude test, and will later be proceeded by an oral interview , and finally to the screening of Original O-level results (WAEC, GCE or NECO) and other important credentials.
ATTENTION: It has been disclosed that Applicants shall be responsible for their feeding, transportation and accommodation all through their stay during the period of screening and interview exercises.
Application Deadline
All interested and eligible Applicants are required to submit their application forms to the Institution on or before 7th September, 2021. Endeavor to submit your credentials as well on the same day.
